Recently in an interview with CNBC, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said that the case is making good progress and it is likely to come to a conclusion next year. He told the news that 'We're seeing pretty good progress despite a slow-moving judicial process.’ He further added, “Clearly we’re seeing good questions asked by the judge. And I think the judge realizes this is not just about Ripple, this will have broader implications.”
We know that crypto currency is becoming a major part of our lives now. Due to the Ripple SEC lawsuit, the investors and regulators from all around the world are taking a closer look at it. There are countries that support crypto and there are ones who are against it. According to the Ripple CEO, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Singapore, and Switzerland are examples of countries that are "leading" in terms of crypto regulation, whereas China and India are cracking down. He said, “In general, the direction of travel is very positive.”
CNBC also added a comment from Brady Dougan who is the former CEO of Credit Suisse. He said that the regulation is a key area in crypto that’s likely to develop over time. “It’s a market that’s early in its development.’ Talking to the news, he further added that “I think it’s a healthy market and it’s one that will continue to develop in a positive way.”
